ABOUT

Nailah Imani is a digital and film photographer based out of Harlem, New York City. She spent most of her formative years practicing fine art techniques and mediums, such as oil painting, acrylic, and gouache. Her love of all things creative expanded into the photography space during the pandemic in 2020 as a way to still connect with the city and the people around her, even if the closest she could get was behind a lens. Primarily, her muses lie in travel and cityscape photography, however her love of community and connection has allowed her to expand into events and nightlife photography. She hopes to grow her knowledge and techniques into a creative studio space where she can master portrait and fashion photography, and eventually, a blooming travel photography lifestyle somewhere out of the country - in due time. For now, her passion means falling deeply in love with the process.
